It was Down Under where Dec truly fell for the automotive scene, and he couldn’t wait to get his hands dirty restoring rides.
Not content with just working on cars, Dec wanted to share his passion with the world. This drive to showcase the art of restoration led to the creation of the TV show Resto my Ride. The inaugural episode was not just a typical restoration; it was a project with a purpose. A car was built for the charity, the EJ Whitten Foundation, in a mere 9 weeks. An EJ for EJ, as they say. This endeavor not only brought a classic car back to life but also raised awareness and funds for Men’s Health and Prostate Cancer.
